Odah Wins Ohaukwu LG PDP Primary Election



    The immediate past Executive Chairman, Ohaukwu Local Government Area, Barr. Clement Omekannaya Odah has been given the mandate on Sunday at the council’s Headquarters, Ezzamgbo, to run for his chairmanship second term bid in the forthcoming local government council polls under the platform of people’s Democratic Party (PDP) having secured three hundred and seventeen votes unopposed.
    The immediate past council boss revealed that his objective of recontesting  was to enable him attract more dividends of democracy to the council area having served meritoriously in his first term in office.
    He expressed gratitude to Almighty God for giving him the golden opportunity to serve his people again, and applauded the state Governor for lifting ban on electoral activities that was obstructed by the ravaging corona virus in the state,appreciating him for his good work in the state especially in the area of health, infrastructural development among others.
    He, however, promised to run an open door adminstration by responding urgently to the needs of his people as well as lead them with the fear of God.
    Meanwhile, the Caretaker Chairman of the council, Chief Nicodemus Omenka expressed satisfaction over the conduct of the election  and called on the people of the area to vote massively for the chairman to continue his good work in the area, noting that the election was conducted in a peaceful atmosphere.
