The Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III has been described as a shining star in modern day Nigeria.
Felicitating with him on his 66th birthday anniversary on August 24 2020, the Tinubu Support Organisation (TSO) expressed this in a statement signed by its Director General, Comrade Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani.
“Never in Nigeria’s recent history has the country been blessed with a nationalist that is deeply committed to Nigeria’s unity and progress,” it stated.
The statement said that the Sultan being a devout Muslim, has used his position as the leader of the Muslim Ummah in Africa’s most populous country in preaching unity and fairness to all.
It further said that as co-chair of Traditional Rulers in the country, he has drawn his colleagues from all over the country and served as a role model.
“As the 20th Sultan of Sokoto, he is the spiritual leader of Nigeria’s Muslims, but serves as inspiration to people of other faith,” it added.
TSO therefore, wished him good health, God’s guidance and protection as he leads millions in the country.
