Zonal Coordinator, North West, Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Idris Abdullahi gave the assurance in a welcome address at the lecture organised by the zone for Director of Sports at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna on Friday August 28, 2020.
He said that COVID-19 is a deadly disease and it is important to sensitize and create awareness ahead of resumption of sporting activities.
He said they are hoping before end of next month, sporting activities will resume, which would pave way for the table tennis competition to be hosted by Kano State.
He informed that the Table Tennis championship would be held in Kano hopefully by end of September as hosts and other sponsors have indicated interest.
