Auto crash claims three lives in Delta

Three persons have reportedly lost their lives in an auto crash involving a drink distribution van along Koko Road in Warri North/Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State.
AUTHENTIC News Daily gathered the accident reportedly occurred on Monday at about 1pm.
Sources said that, “two persons died on the spot, while the driver of the vehicle who survived initially, died at a hospital, due to life-threatening injuries sustained in the accident.
“The (deceased) identities could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report, the two who died on the spot were young men in their late 20s.
“The van was heading to Koko, the administrative headquarters of Warri North, but had a ruptured tyre along the way.
“The duo were to give assistance to the driver in the distribution of the drinks to customers in the area.
“They smashed their heads on the tarred road and had their legs broken in the process”.
When contacted for comments, the State Police Command confirmed the report on Monday evening.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) said, “yes. It is true. Two died on the spot and the driver later died at the hospital”.
