The recent events in the country show that former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s 2023 Presidential ambition is getting a big boost as a result of the untiring efforts of support groups.
The man at the helm of affairs who is masterminding and galvanizing this mammoth grassroot support for the former Vice President is a young energetic and visionary leader, Amb Aliyu Bin Abbas who is the Special Adviser to the former Vice President on Youth and Support Groups.
Amb. Aliyu masterminded and formed several support groups that are grassroots based, including Atiku Care Foundation (ACF), Atiku Support Organization (ASO), Atiku Young Leaders Front etc.
These organizations are making big waves in the country, mobilising and sensitizing Nigerians urging them not only to support the former Vice President but also to key into his humanitarian and welfarism agenda.
Amb Aliyu has projected the personality of the former vice president into the minds of Nigerians to such extent that every average Nigerian most especially the youth, are calling on the former Vice President to come and rescue the country from her current state of mess.
If the current momentum is sustained, no doubt, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is sure to be Nigeria’s next President.
The appointment of Amb Aliyu is indeed a round peg in a round hole.
It is a right step in a right direction.
Looking at the activities of the support groups particularly the ACF and ASO, Amb Aliyu Bin Abbas deserves accolades.
