Kaduna State Social protection Accountability Coalition (KADSPAC) is to engage 255 Wards Champions to strengthen social protection for poor and vulnerable at the grassroots.
The Assistant Secretary of KADSPAC, Mr Yusuf Goje disclosed this during the Quarterly meeting of the Group held in Zaria on Tuesday.

Mr. Goje added that 23 Champions have also been appointed for the various local government Areas in the state.
He disclosed that the 23 Local Goverment Champions Will receive capacity training on how to monitor and track the various goverment social interventions in their various LGAs.
In his remarks, the Advocacy and Communication Coordinator, Child Development Grant Project (CAGP) of Save the Children International in kaduna, Farouq Abdulkadir commended the members of the Coalition for their commitments in ensuring the poor and vulnerables are included in government policy.
Farouq Abdulkadir stated that in the 3rd quarter, the coalition carried out some activities such as capacity building for members on social protection, roundtable engagement with head of media organization in Kaduna and Advocacy to various stakeholders.
He hinted that the coalition played a great role in the recently created Kaduna social protection policy which will go a long way to put smile on the faces of the poor and vulnerable.
Farouq Abdullahi informed members of the coalition that more dedication and commitment is expected from them in order to achieve the aims and objectives of the coalition.
In his remarks, the Secretary of KADSPAC Philip Yatai said the 4th quarter is going to be busy for members of the coalition, so he urged them to brace up for the challenges.
