One of the biggest Nigerian Mobile Banking market, Bizi Mobile has concluded arrangements to employ over 2,000 Northern youth in its quest to boost the Nigerian Internet banking system and to contribute its quota in reducing number of unemployed  in the labour market.

Chief Executive Officer of the Kano based firm, High Chief Aminu Bizi explained that Bizi Mobile in collaboration with the Central Bank of Nigeria would give priority to graduates,  NCE and Diploma holders who  excelled in their various disciplines while in school but could not find jobs, adding that his company would focus more on Northern Nigeria, Kano in particular which according to him, has the highest number of unemployed youth.

He disclosed that, each employee of the mobile banking firm could earn between 80 to 100 thousand Naira monthly on commissions in additional bonus to encourage commitment and excellence by agents of the company.

The business mogul mentioned small and medium scale entrepreneurs, such as restaurants, bakeries, transport owners among others as targets of Bizi Mobile, adding that agents of the company would open instant bank accounts connected to BVN and issue instant ATM cards to customers to save them the stress of going to banking halls.

“Our services will be customer-friendly, transparent, prompt, easy and dynamic.

“In addition to our banking services, we have concluded arrangements as part of our corporate social responsibility to float a basketball academy and organize competitions to develop sports amongst our youth in order to keep the minds and physical bodies fit and busy.

“Also the Kano State government will partner Bizi Mobile to engage Youth on work and pay.

“I must tell you we’re in business to accelerate and  complement  CBN’s efforts in making Nigeria a cashless society and create job opportunities for our teeming youth who roam the streets aimlessly.” He said.
