A group identified simply as Hausa cult group has allegedly killed a man also identified simply as community priest in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.
AUTHENTIC News Daily gathered that the incident occurred Thursday evening being 1st October 2020 at the Hausa Quarters, in Igbudu area of Warri.
Sources said that, “the deceased (Mr Victor, Grand son of late Alawhuru allegedly went to a carnival at Degbori Street when he was killed.
“The deceased (Mr Victor was killed because a Hausa lady got pregnant for him and he allegedly rejected the pregnancy.
“The incident has brought serious tension”
When contacted for comments, the State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome confirmed the incident.
She said, “yes, it is true, somebody (a man) was killed.”
