The New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), Kaduna State Chapter rose from its executive meeting on Friday in Kaduna with a resolve to embark on aggressive membership drive towards positioning the party to win elective positions in the 2023 elections in the state.

Chairman of the party in the state, Alhaji Ahmed Mohammed Zagi expressed this when fielding questions from newsmen at the end of the executive session.

He explained that they are taking advantage of the numerical strength of women to woo them into the party and get a stronghold at the grassroots in all the 23 local government areas of the state.

“We have just ended and executive meeting which was well attended and we unanimously agreed that 2023 will be our year of succes.

“We resolved to embark on membership drive all over Kaduna State to woo the womenfolk and let them know that our party is gender friendly to provide a platform for them to attain political aspiration,” he said.

Zagi said that in view of that, several programmes have been lined up to ensure they actualize their plans.

“We are optimistic that by the time we carefully follow the mapped out strategies, our party will be the most loved and attract patriotic members that will further take down the message to the grassroots,” he assured.
