Several dignitaries listened as Publisher of Blueprint Newspapers, Mohammed Idris described communication as a vital ingredient in all spheres of life.
He was speaking at the book launch of the former spokesman of ex Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Ambassador Nuhu Bajoga, Mr. James Swam on, “How To Be An Effective Spokesperson”, he noted that spokespersons play critical roles to plan, project any government in power or any organisation.
He noted that spokespersons play the role of bridge builders and project the image of their principals or organisations.
He explained that effective communication lies squarely with the ability of how effective the spokesperson is in any government or organisation.
The chairman of the occasion and a Head of Department, Kaduna State University, Professor Bashir Ali commended the efforts the author, Mr James Swam put into writing his experience as a former spokesman to the former deputy governor of Kaduna State, stressing that the book would go a long way to give stakeholders the reality of how best to relate in their areas of endeavour.
The launching of the book was well attended and had in attendance personalities from all walks of life.
Many in their goodwill messages praised the author of the book for a job well done, assuring that the book would serve as a guide to present managers and the incoming generation for a better communication application for the progress and development of the country.
