The Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly has received commendation from Obiaruku Community, in Ukwuani Local Government Area for an effective representation.
The commendation was made by the community, when a delegate of the chiefs from the palace led by Chief Scala Osogbue to meet with the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon Christopher Ochor Ochor, in Asaba on Thursday, December 11, 2020.

The community leaders, said that the commendation has become necessary after a close observation of his antecedents in the one and half years so far spent as the representatives of the people of Ukwuani State Constituency.
They specifically took exception to his unhindered relationship with the people, the distribution of the 2020 constituency projects, his empowerment drive, which had affected all the wards in the local government, and various attention he had been rendering to the constituency, especially outside his official portfolio.
Reacting to the commendation, the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon Christopher Ochor Ochor, who was surprised by the love of the Obiaruku community, and its leadership, said he will continue to ensure that the general interest of the people of Ukwuani will always be protected, and projected, as it was part of his electioneering promises.
“I am grateful by this expression of commendation from the people of Obiaruku Community, led by the Chiefs. I assure you, the interests of Obiaruku, and in general Ukwuani Local Government Area will always be protected.”
“It was my electioneering promises, and that was while I was voted in as your representative.” He stated.
Those amongst the delegates are Chief Evans Uwabuofu, Chief Onojaefer (Ogbuefa Ocha) and others.
