Members of the United Church Of Christ In Nations (UCCN), popularly known as HEKAN, have been commended for their efforts in the church this year, in spite of daunting challenges.
The commendation was made by the President HEKAN, Rev. (Dr.) Amos G. Kiri in his Christmas address delivered on Friday December 25..
“To our HEKAN members, I must commend all your efforts to the church during the current year. Despite the hardships, you kept the faith.
“The Church was going on steadily in her activities in spite of lockdowns and low activities. Thank you for being there for the Church,” he said.
He added that they did their best by fighting the good fight of the faith and looking after their clergies in their various congregations.
“As you celebrate this Christmas, remember that our God is still on the throne. His watch over you will never cease.
“Continue to live a faithful life serving him in truth and in Spirit and I assure you, you will never regret. Continue with your commitment and dedication to the Church,” he advised.
Reverend Kiri assured that on their part as leaders, they shall continue to carry everybody along.
“The storms may come, but be sure that there is a silver lining at the end of the tunnel,” he assured.
