North West Coordinator Says Nimrod Fits Into Late MKO’s Role As NIgeria’s Pillar Of Sports

    In view of his undisputable role in all round sports development of in Nigeria, the President of the NIgeria Volleyball Federation of NIgeria (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod is one of the few persons in the country who unarguably fit into the role played by the late Bashorun Moshood Kolawole Owolabi (MKO) Abiola as a pillar of sports in Nigeria.
    The Zonal Coordinator, Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, North West Zone, Alhaji Abdullahi Idris  expressed this on Monday in Kaduna, when he led a team of top management staff of the zone to Nimrod’s office on a courtesy visit.
    He said that in view of that, Nimrod is outstanding and the zone would waste no time in showcasing this to the world.
    “We are having a meeting with stakeholders, Directors of Sports within the zone.
    “You are our Most Outstanding Representative and we would present the award to you during the meeting to be held during the U-17 Zonal Volleyball Beach Volleyball Championship,” he said.

    Zonal Coordinator said they were there to express appreciation for all he has been doing to develop sports and youth in the zone and the country in general.
    “The title given to you as Garkuwan Matasa Arewa you are living up to it,” he said.
    Speaking further, he said that were also at his office to brief him on progress made ahead of the Zonal Volleyball event.
    “We are also here to inform you that the U-17 Beach Volleyball coming up in February is in top.gear,” he assured.
