A member of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) Board of Trustees and a son of the Afegbua dynasty of Edo State, Prince Malik Afegbua has commiserated with a former APC deputy gubernatorial candidate in the state, Malam Gani Audu over the passage of his mother, Hajiya Afishetu Audu.
In a condolence message to the Audu’s family and the chief mourner in particular, Malam Gani Audu, Prince Afegbua urged the family to be strong at the trial time and be proud that the late mother lived an impacting and a fulfilled life worthy of emulation.
Prince Afegbua further urged the Audu’s family to take solace in the Almighty adding that death is a gown worn by every mortal.
He reminded the grassroots politician that it is difficult to lose parents at any stage of one’s life, but added that death is a design by the Almighty for all living that will definitely show its ugly side at appropriate time.
He also reminded him that the unfortunate incident is not only for him, the family, but entire Estako West and indeed Edo State.
He prayed that, “Almighty ALLAAH forgive the short comings of the departed mother in her life time and grant her Aljanatul Firdausi Amin Thumma Ameen.”
