The management of Abuja based distributor of DSM vitamin supplements in Nigeria ,Nisah_Palace has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing Hon. (Dr) Asabe Vilita Bashir as the new Executive Director/CEO, National Centre for Women Development (NCWD).
According to Nisah_Palace management, the appointment of the Borno State born former House of Representatives member is not only the best decision by President Buhari, but also apt, considering her background as a seasoned advocate for women and children .
The founder and Chief Executive Officer of Nisah_Palace, Hajiya Ummi Nisah in her congratulatory message on Sunday said, “We express optimism that Hon (Dr.) Asabe Vilita Bashir as a selfless voice for women and administrator will perform creditably well as long as her tenure, which commenced in April lasts”.
Nisah_Palace Boss in the statement equally said, “We strongly believe that your background as an educationist and astute administrator will be deployed to transform National Centre for Women Development.”
She however, called on women across Nigeria to give her the necessary support needed to succeed.
Hon. Bashir was elected to the House of Representatives as a candidate of the ruling party APC in the federal constituency of Gwoza, Chibok and Damboa Borno State.
She advocates for women and children especially victims of Boko Haram insurgency.
She completed her secondary education in the famous Federal Government College Maiduguri in 1984.
She then enrolled into the University of Maiduguri to study education.
She was awarded BSc in Education in 1988, the MEd in Administration and Planning in 1992, and a PhD in Philosophy in 2002.
