    Gunmen suspected to be armed robbers have reportedly shot a woman identified simply as a Point of Sale (POS) operator on her thighs at DSC Township First Gate, along Orhuwhorun Road.
    AUTHENTIC NEW’S DAILY  gathered that the incident occurred on Tuesday morning, March 2, 2021.
    Sources said that, “a female Point of Sale operator was shot on her thighs by suspected armed robbers here at DSC Township First Gate, along Orhuwhorun Road.
    “It happened on Tuesday morning. The victim reportedly provoked the hoodlums by refusing to cooperate with them.
    “Barely one week ago, residents reported a similar incident in Orhuwhorun community, were a huge sum of money was reportedly carted away by the hoodlums said to have stormed the POS shop in a Toyota Lexus SUV.
    “The suspects shot sporadically into the air until they accomplished their mission and zoomed off. Community sources claimed.”
    When contacted for comments, the State Acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Edafe Bright, could only confirm the incident as he said that, “The matter was not reported.”
    “If you know or have any contact on the persons that was shot, help with the information so we can contact her.”.
