Councilor Hails Adamawa ALGON Chair Over Devt Strides

A councillor representing Gyela Ward, Mubi South Local Government Area, Hon Mohammed Auwal Haruna has thumbed up  Hon Jingi Rufai, Chairman of the council for developmental strides in many communities in the area.
“Jingi who is the Adamawa State Chairman of the Association of Local Government in Nigeria (ALGON) has brought a model of leadership in the area that posterity will be kind to him,” he said.
According to him, the watershed development in the communities that were left and abandoned to self-help after the ravaging of the areas by Boko Haram is something worthy of note.
“ALGON Chairman has turned Mubi South Local Government Area to a mini government house with state-of-the-art furnishing,” Auwal said.
He praised Rufai for prompt payment of workers salaries and  never defaulting in paying councillors their salaries, as well as  their furniture allowances as at when due.
Adamu further said that Rufai has done  many electrification projects in many wards including Gyela, his very constituency.
“This man gave empowerment of cars and capital to many businessmen and women. It’s an understatement to say my chairman is the best.
“I’m also calling on the other chairmen to follow suit and do the needful to our people and councilors across the state,” he added.
While calling on other local government Chairmen to take a good stewardship clue from the ALGON Chairman to rejuvenate the state with massive development, Auwal enjoined councillors in Adamawa State to unite in the spirit of development to work for the common good of the people.
