The Afaka Community (TAC) has in strong terms disassociated itself from a poster that is impersonating the association, used in promoting a certain candidate for an elective position.

The TAC in a terse statement signed by its Director Media and Publicity, Comrade Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani, made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Sunday, said that the name organisation has never, and will never be aligned with any political party or movement.

“The Afaka Community (TAC) belongs to each and every member of the community, hence we remain non partisan and would forever be open to all candidates and political parties, seeking to contribute to the development of our community,” it stated.

The community therefore, called on one Hon Isiyaku Umar Marafa, and Hon Ibrahim Yusuf Tambaya T. to immediately withdraw the poster from public and also make a public apology within 24 hours, or risk a legal action.
