“The TCDA is a CAC registered body with a Board of Trustees and its own constitution.
“That due to the prevailing circumstances at home and noting the expiration of the present caretaker committee on the 20th April 2021, the General Assembly (GA)  decided to extend the tenure of the same caretaker, led by Agur Sankace by six(6) months, effective 20th April 2021,” the General Assembly said.
The General Assembly further said that it  emphatically repudiates the existence of any other caretaker in any form or intent other than the one led by Agur Sankace.
“That the public should disregard and avoid any dealings with any committee unknown to the GA

“That the caretaker leadership are given the mandate to endorse any litigation processes, which is of interest to the TCDA,” it informrd.
The General Assembly stressed that the caretaker should ensure to convoke another General Assembly meeting at least one month to the expiration of this extension.
“Finally, the GA appreciates the Board of Trustees, well meaning Tangale sons and daughters here and in diaspora for their unconditional support, in all ramifications,” it concluded.
