The future of HEKAN is very bright as it gets set to take its rightful places among churches in Nigeria.
President of HEKAN, Reverend Amos Kiri G. Kiri expressed this, while speaking at the church’s National Convention/61st Anniversary which ended in Kaduna on Sunday April 11, 2021.
“My Dear People of God, the future of the Church is bright and by the grace of God we shall continue to grow HEKAN both spiritually and physically.
“We are confident that HEKAN wrillassume its rightful place among Churches in Nigeria and beyond. Our forecast and hope is tocomplete the secretariat office project by June 2021 and start construction of the auditorium,hostels and Apartments accommodation at the site in Unguwan Doma,” he said.
Speaking further, he said that they plan to relocate the headquarters of the church to a more befitting structure in 2021.
“We plan to relocate HEKAN headquarters to Unguwan Doma in the third quarter of 2021. We shall continue to expand HGMO outreach, building of Churches, clinics and support for women and youth empowerment programmes among many other projects,” he said.
Speaking further, the President said that 2021 is apother year of election at all levels in HEKAN.
“I am profoundly grateful to leaders at various levels and the entire members of HEKAN for your massive support since my assumption of office.
“I want to call on all members of the Church to pray for the success of the election and for the will of God to prevail.
“I urge you to “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit(Philippians 2:3); rather submit yourselves to the leadership of the Holy Spirit,” he urged.
