The Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt. Honourable Yusuf Zailani has expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the All Progressives Congress (APC), local government primary elections.

According to a statement signed by his SA Media and Publicity, Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani, he expressed this after participating and voting at his center Mamman Jalo primary school in Rigachikun.

The statement said that Zailani, who was with the National Assembly member representing Igabi LGA, Hon Zayyad Ibrahim, praised party faithful for orderly conduct.

“I am impressed with the manner our party members came out in an orderly manner to cast votes for candidates of their choice,” the statement quoted Zailani.

It further urged all those that are victorious at the primaries to see themselves as APC ambassadors, while calling on those who could not emerge tops to rally round the candidates to ensure the party wins all round on June 5, when the LG Polls hold.

“We must support candidates that emerge at the primaries to emerge victorious at the general elections.

“With the achievements of our party, especially the massive urban renewal embarked upon by our amiable Governor, Malam Nasir el-Rufai, I am optimistic it will be a walk over for our great party the APC across the 23 local government areas,” it said.
