As Muslims all over the world mark yet another sallah festival amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Usman Ibrahim popularly known as Sardaunan Badarawa has felicitated with people of Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone, enjoining constituents to imbibe spirit of love, togetherness and piety by being their brothers’ keepers during the festivities and afterwards.
Honourable Ibrahim also eulogized Governor Nasir el-Rufai and Senator Uba Sani, describing the two leaders as men of foresight who could do anything humanly possible to bring development to their people, particularly those at the grassroots.
He noted that essentials of sallah festival which marked the completion of Ramadan fasting made compulsory on Muslims so they could have conscience of Allah, according to him included; health benefits, fight against obesity, instilling fear of Allah in hearts of adherents, adapting body and soul on perseverance and self-discipline, among others.
Ibrahim who holds the title of San-Turakin Hausa added that if Muslims would conform with teachings of Ramadan and its lessons crime rate and other societal vices in the society would have drastically reduced.
He urged Kaduna Muslims to utilize the auspicious occasion to pray for peace, progress and development of the state to overcome its current security challengesas, pleading with people to support wholeheartedly Governor elRufai in his quest to positively change the face and fortune of Capital of the old Northern state.
The former Interim Chairman of Kaduna North commended Senator Uba Sani for delivering dividends of democracy to Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone, saying the senator had taken high number of youth and women out of poverty through his numerous empowerment programs geared towards providing vocations for teeming number of unemployed masses.
He appreciated the relentless support of his Badarawa ward and the entire Kaduna Central Zone for his aspiration, vowing to put their interests first above anything.
