SA Sports Eyes Win Over Kada Kings As Kwara Women Thrash Zamfara 3-0

    The Special Adviser on Sports and Youths Development to Governor, Abdulrazak Abdulrahman of Kwara State, Attahiru Ibrahim   has expressed satisfaction with the level of preparedness of Team Kwara in the ongoing National  Division One Volleyball League currently ongoing at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.
    Attahiru Ibrahim who expressed satisfaction with the way Kwara female team outclassed Zamfara team, said he is not surprised given the high-level of preparedness that both the female and male teams went through before the tournament.
    “I am very satisfied that our girls outpaced, outclassed and outplayed the Zamfara girls but I am not surprised at all. The fact is that, His Excellency, Governor Abdulrahman provided our team with all the needed stuff – materially and otherwise to be the best. 
    “The way you see the female team played today, would be the way the male would play any team tomorrow,” he stressed .
    Speaking about the face-off between his team and Kada Kings on Saturday, the Special Adviser on Sports boasted that his team would beat the Kada Kings black and white.
    “I can assure you that our boys would beat Kada Kings with superlative ease on Saturday, in fact, they will beat the Kaduna boys black and blue,” he said.
    Meanwhile, as action hots up at the indoor sports hall of Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kwara beat Zamfara Spikers in the Female category 3- 0 in a breathtaking  and pulsating encounter.
    In the first set, Kwara totally dominated the game by outpacing Zamfara and wining the set.
    The Kwara team also showed class in the second set by a straight win.
    Nonetheless, in the third set, Zamfara made a surprise comeback by going head to head with Kwara and taking the lead most of the time.
    Many fans held their breath as they had thought that Zamfara Spikers would actually win the third going by the way team came out strongly.
    At the end of the set, Kwara subdued Zamfara with 27 – 25.
