Nimrod, Others Honoured By Taraba Volleyball Stakeholders

    Taraba State Volleyball Stakeholders have honored the Chairman Caretaker Committee of Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Engineer Musa Nimrod, Chairman of Taraba State Volleyball Association, Engineer Ahmed Nyagdi and the Chairman of Adamawa State Volleyball Association, Stephen Hasso (RTD) for their contributions to the development of volleyball in Taraba state.

    The spokesperson of Taraba State Volleyball Stakeholders, Jonah Adamu said the awards given to the the individuals was in recognition to their contributions to volleyball in the state.

    Adamu said within the shortest period of time, they have impacted in the grassroots and the game of volleyball is growing stronger.

    He said, “These award we presented to Engineer Musa Nimrod, Engineer Ahmed Nyagdi and Stephen Hasso (RTD) is to thank them for their immense contributions to the development of volleyball.

    “I want to state it categorically that within the last three years, they have transformed volleyball in the state and we can now boast of upcoming players”.

    Reacting to the award, the Chairman of Taraba State Volleyball, Engineer Ahmed Nyagdi said the award will spur him to continue promoting the game of volleyball.

    Engineer Ahmed Nyagdi called on relevant stakeholders including government to support the game of volleyball.
