Eid-el-Kabir: Live In Peace With One Another, Chief Imam Urges Nigerians



The Chief Imam of Warri Central Mosque, Alhaji Abdulrasheed Ajisafe has called for peace among Nigerians.

The chief lmam also led the prayer against insecurity, and others challenges facing Nigeria as a nation.

Alhaji Abdulrasheed also prayed for peace in Nigeria during the Eid-el-Kabir service and prayers.

In his message on Tuesday marking the Eid-el-Kabir, he said, “We should all live in peace with one another, no one should use this period to make trouble or lead evil life. Allah will not forgive anyone who involves in evil practices.

“No matter who you are, your position in government, one day, we shall all taste death. Even if you are the best giver, or the best receiver. One day we shall taste death.

“Everyone should be a good worshiper of Allah. The governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa is a lover of Muslims. He has done all he has for the Muslims. Allah will bless his government.”

On his part, the member representing Warri Federal Constituency and the Deputy Chairman House of Reps Committee on Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Hon. Chief Thomas Ereyitomi congratulated all Muslim brothers and sisters across Warri Federal Constituency as they celebrate this year’s 2021 Eid-el-Kabir.

Ereyitomi while extending his warm greetings to Muslims in Warri South, Warri North and South-West urged Muslims, “to continue to pray for peace, unity, love as well as against insurgents and other things capable of causing disaffection among Nigerians.

“The lawmaker said that, “there is this need to sustained cooperation with the Muslim faithful, encouraging them to absorb the ways of Prophet Mohammed (sallahi allahi wasalam) for His sacrifice of obedience to Almighty Allah.

“Eid-el-Kabir is a great Festival observed by all Muslim across the world signifying belief where there is disbelief as displayed by Prophet Ibrahim in the Holy Qur’an.”
