Nigerian Ambassador to Czech Republic, Mr Kevin Peter met country of stay Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon Yakub Kulhanek, in his office and discussed Matters of great importance to both countries..
A statement signed by the Ambassador and made available to our correspondent said their meeting extensively discussed diplomatic issues in connection to economic times, security and defence cooperation, education and scholarship.
According to him, other matters of cogent importance were also raised and discussed to the overall benefit of both countries.
“I briefed the minister on the progress and level of implementation of signed MoUs between Nigeria and the Czech Republic. The minister in his remarks, appreciated the level of our diplomatic relations, and further encouraged me to keep the candle burning. At the end, there was exchange of pleasantries.” Peter said.
He explained that the meeting was graciously honoured and had Dr Market Sarbochov, Director Diplomatic Protocol, MFA, Nicol Adamcova, Director Sub-Saharan Africa Department, Katherine Sternbergova and Mr Idris Lawal, Head of Chancery, Nigeria Embassy in attendance.
