Action Hots Up In Volleyball League, UCEM, Spartan Spikers, Immigration Win

    As the National Division 1 and 2 Volleyball Leagues in Kaduna enters its fifth day, action is ongoing, with some teams showing superiority over their opponents.

    In the Men (Div 1) category at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium venue,
    JVC of Bauchi failed to shine as they lost 1-3 to UCEM of Enugu.

    The first set of the match ended 24-26, second 22-25, while the third set, JVC brightened hope of a come back with a 25-19 victory, only to succumb in the fourth set to UCEM Enugu 17-25.

    Caliphate Spikers of Sokoto in their match, surrendered victory to their opponents, Spartan Spikers of Yola who wasted no time in claiming the three sets played, with the game ending 0-3.

    The first set of that match, ended 13-25, second, 21-25 and the third, 18-25.

    In another match played, Nigeria Immigration Service beat ABM of Katsina 3-1.

    Nigeria Immigration Service won the first set 25-11, second set 25-19, but lost the third to ABM 1, 21-25.

    In the last set played, Immigration fought hard to claim a 25-22 victory.
