The General Overseer of Goshen Freedom Tabernacle (GFT) in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, Prophet Austin Ariole JP on Sunday has reiterated his call on christians to vote their consciences in the forthcoming 2023 general election.
The Cleric made the call during Sunday service.
He said,”Go and prepare and cast your votes. If you don’t have PVC, go and pray that God, let your will be done.”
According to Prophet Ariole,”Your vote is your power and that’s why God is speaking to you. When you vote, God will bring your choice candidates to power.”
He said the one(presidential candidate) that will favour us(christians)will win the election.
Earlier, Prophet Ariole said christians were making a lot of mistakes for kicking against the “Muslim-Muslim Ticket”. He said, it’s an “aberration” and “rubbish.
“Listen and get it right, your state is governed by a christian and you’re in pain.”
He called on christian clerics to separate politics from religion. “That’s the reason they made all kind of prophecies and Buhari became president. Fake prophecies. God is an authority.”
Prophet Ariole noted that Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Qarta where christians go and enjoy themselves were built by Muslims.
Prophet Ariole challenged his members to show their Personal Voter Cards, PVCs. Surprisingly, only half of the church had the boldness to say they have obtained theirs.
“How many people have their PVCs?” He asked.
Prophet said sadness over the responses saying,”In this Country, the christians are hypocrites.”
